Sally Charlotte-Wells. 4th Year, Science

Role? Chair of St. Andrews Student Association

What made you interested in becoming the Chair of St. Andrews Student Association?

I’ve always been fascinated by chairs. I often sit and when I do, I prefer it to be on a chair. I guess you could say I’m a real chair-nut.

What does being a leader mean to you?

It means that if the ship goes down, I go down too because that’s what the captain does. Even if it’s just a ferry I’m on and it’s not actually sinking, I’m still getting in the water. It’s the only way to show that I mean business.

What kind of leader are you?

Everyone knows there are two kinds of leaders, and I am the kind that wears hats.

What are you passionate about?

I want to be the first person to lick a painting. Any painting.

The money goes in a box, I put it in there.

It means allowing people to climb me when they need to get big and tall. I am big enough for everyone.

What makes a good leader?

The same thing that makes a good sandwich: mayonnaise.

What drives you?

A bunch of tiny little characters who live in my head, like in “Inside Out”.

Juggle.

I can’t see myself, even in mirrors.
